Leadership Weekly

This morning in my church we had ‘Vision Sunday’ a morning where the vision of our church and what we are about is shared by our Senior Pastor. In this extremely inspiring presentation I couldn’t help feel overwhelmed with the fact that as a Pastor I am called to be ALL ABOUT PEOPLE! I am not there just to run an entertaining program or get a few laughs from kids (although these things are important) I am here on planet Earth to make a difference in the LIVES of PEOPLE!

My commitment in 2009 is to go out of my way for people and do all I can to make others lives great. When the mother is having a little complain about something that happened in the program, what can I say to bring life to her? When the 6 year old boy is running riot, what is it that is going on in his world that has him like this? When the leaders says they will be there but show up late, how can I connect with them better and inspire them to see the opportunity in kids ministry?

This year I challenge you to make it ALL ABOUT PEOPLE!!!
